Replace “Have you finished?” with a better review.
A short parent–learner conversation that makes progress visible without taking over.
EaseBrain Academy · 28 October 2026
When the only question is whether work is finished, a learner may hide uncertainty or rush to produce something that looks complete.
Show one thing that works
Ask the learner to demonstrate it. Notice a specific choice or improvement rather than offering general praise.
Find one unresolved question
Ask what was difficult and what evidence they need next. Resist fixing every detail for them.
Agree a small next action
Choose one test or revision and a realistic check-in date. If the project is no longer useful, discuss why before changing direction.
The review should leave the learner with ownership and a manageable next step. Progress can include discovering that an approach does not work.
Put it into practice.
Choose a free lesson, keep your notes and return to use the idea again. You do not need paid coaching to continue learning.
Want a human perspective?
If your learner is busy but direction is still unclear, we can help you frame a project and a useful review.
