“I made this” is only half the story.
Help a learner explain the choices behind a project, including how AI was used.

A polished output tells you little if the learner cannot explain the work. This matters even more when AI can produce a convincing first draft.
Name the problem
“People could not find the date quickly.” State the purpose and intended reader before showing the design.
Show one decision
Explain why the date moved, why the text became shorter or why contrast changed. Keep the original so the improvement is visible.
Explain the help
Credit templates, collaborators and AI tools. Show which suggestions were checked, changed or rejected. Ask the learner to reproduce one small part independently.
A small, well-explained project offers evidence of judgement and learning. It does not need to pretend to be professional client work.
